 This thumb latch has a back plate where the handle is attached and it measures 7 3/8" x 1 1/2".  The  handle measures 3 1/8" and is mounted on one side of the door and a hole is cut through the door for the thumb lift to protrude through and rest under the bar that is mounted on the other side of the door.  When pressing the thumb it will raise the bar from the keeper, (that is mounted in the door jamb) and will allow the door to open. The bar  measures 2 1/4" x 6 7/8".   The keeper is from our own replacement stock.  It is restored and ready to be installed.
