Wrought Iron
Bean Thumb Latch handle
is mounted on
one side of the door and a hole is cut through the door
for the thumb lift to protrude through and rest under the bar that is
mounted on the other side of the door. When pressing the thumb it will
raise the bar from the drive-in keeper, (that is mounted in the door jamb)
and will allow the door to open. The handle measures
6 3/8" x
1 1/4"
and the bar
measures 5 5/8" X 2". It has been restored
and ready to be installed.
